Guelph this fall: the dates to know before everyone else does

Here is the fall, in date order, so you can stop finding out about things the day after.
September 11 and 12: Welly BierFest. Wellington Brewery, 950 Woodlawn Road West, runs its own beer festival. 19 plus, obviously.
September 12: Downtown Guelph Vintage Market. Saturday from 10 a.m. on Carden Street. Free. Combine it with the Farmers' Market next door and you have the whole morning.
September 18: the Guelph Storm's regular season opens. Junior hockey at the Sleeman Centre downtown. Tickets are at tickets.guelphstorm.com, and there is a "save $8 per ticket" deal on regular season tickets at the moment. A Storm game is the cheapest loud night out in the city and nobody has ever regretted going.
September 26: Downtown Dog Promenade. Noon, downtown, free. You do not need a dog to stand around admiring other people's.
October 31: Downtown Trick or Treat. From noon, along the downtown shops. Free, and a good excuse to see the streets full.
Fixed Gear's weekly nights, all fall. The brewery at 20 Alma Street South runs trivia on Wednesdays at 7:30, half price wings and bingo on Thursdays, and live music on Fridays. Tuesday is buy one get one taco plates after 5.
December 4: Spirit of the Season. Downtown, from 10 a.m., free. The switch to winter.
Already thinking about next summer: Hillside Festival 2026 sold out. Early bird tickets for 2027 are $189, and they go the way early birds go.
Confirm the details on the organisers' pages before you head out; dates move.
